 Re: KRYPTOS
from your link...interesting! Quote: Kryptos is a sculpture by American artist James Sanborn located on the grounds of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in Langley, Virginia, in the United States. Since its dedication on November 3, 1990, there has been much speculation about the meaning of the encrypted messages it bears. It continues to provide a diversion for some employees of the CIA and other cryptanalysts attempting to decrypt the messages.

 Re: KRYPTOS
i have been researching that myself ... in an other blog. i find it highly interesting that Dan Brown mentions it. Quote: http://www.wired.com/culture/lifestyle/news/2005/01/66334 Publication of the novel The Da Vinci Code has renewed interest in solving the puzzle because author Dan Brown made two veiled references to Kryptos on his book's dust jacket. Brown's publisher sponsored a contest around the references, and Brown has hinted that his next book, which takes place in Washington, D.C., may feature the sculpture in some way.....
The coordinates, slightly altered, appear on the Da Vinci Code book jacket. Brown made the first number 37 instead of 38; he's said that he may reveal the reason in future books.
Quote: One of the few uncracked codes at the Central Intelligence Agency headquarters in Langley, Virginia Suggested that Kryptos is a clue to the subject of Mr. Brown's as-yet-unpublished next novel, "The Solomon Key."http://www.dailygalaxy.com/my_weblog/20 ... ---th.htmlQuote: “This is a great day for readers and booksellers,” said Mehta in a statement from Doubleday. "'The Lost Symbol' is a brilliant and compelling thriller. Dan Brown’s prodigious talent for storytelling, infused with history, codes and intrigue, is on full display in this new book. This is one of the most anticipated publications in recent history, and it was well worth the wait.” http://www.seacoastonline.com/articles/ ... S-90420023Attachment:
