The "Solomon's Key" website that H20Hexagon posted has a lot of information pertaining to Orion and surroundings. The author Herschel claims that the round disk we see behind heads in certain paintings is a representation of star map metal disk that was used to identify the star of our origins. These disks had a face in the center, and he claims this was the reason for the "story" of John's head on a platter. Orion is a constellation that points at this star, HD 283271.

This really is the key! A LOT of what we've been looking at fits in here and makes sense of it - including the term "secret sun," the numbers 111 and 33, the repeated movie story lines of destruction on July 4, the focus on nearby star systems (Pleiades, Aldeberan, Sirius, Orion), etc., etc., etc. What intrigues me so much is why all the millenia of careful architecture and secrecy and prophecy and symbolism and ritual - all to point us to this one star? What is so special about an unnamed star that we cannot see with the naked eye? If someone already has that answer, please enlighten me! Is it the source of life? Or the home of alien visitors to Earth? Or do we have mountains of traditions, etc. built on top of someone's meaningless obsession thousands of years ago?
