Great so far but right around 5:00 the lettering is very hard to read. My eyes might be the problem though. Although I didn't get to finish the video, I thought it was good so far (I plan on finishing tonight). Also your link to your blog is broken for me. I linked this to another site I hope you don't mind. moleads and rodger rabbitCharlesFleischer

Re: The Dog Star and the Rabbit Hole
I loved your video. Synchomysticism is best viewed on Youtube.
Since it was your first video you might want to hear some constructive criticism I guess.. I guess I'm a slow reader, or people who make Youtubevideos in general make the text too fast, since I almost always need to pause to read the text. You probably could let the text linger on the screen a couple of seconds after it has been printed out.
As for the material, the mix of music and pictures is really nice. I would have added something about the shamans journey to the underworld which is taking place through a rabbit hole/hole in the ground..
Actually I was not familiar with the Lupus and Orion theme, so thanks to your video my understanding of the rabbit symbol is far more greater.
Some about easter bunny and rebirth-theme might have been appropriate to put in there.
I'm gonna add a comment about the Synchromysticism Forum to the video.

Re: The Dog Star and the Rabbit Hole
Arc's wife here.
He's been bugging me to start posting here.
I've been doing movies/montages like this as a side business for a couple of years, so maybe I can help with some constructive criticism of the technical aspect of your show.
First, the sound needs to be on the same level. There are free programs you can download to sync all the sounds of files so they are all the same volume level. It is very frustrating to watch a video and have to keep your finger on the volume button to adjust every time the sound changes.
Secondly, text is great but I would fade to a black screen for the text or at least put pictures on one side and text on the other (on a black background). It's very hard to read text on top of moving pictures, much less concentrate on what it means. The speed of the text was fine for me.
Overall, I liked the video. I learned a few things I didn't know. Good job for your first video! What program do you use?

Re: The Dog Star and the Rabbit Hole
MP3Gain and Audacity are freeware. A lot of people use Adobe Audition and say it's the best, but it's not free. This is the link to get 'MP3Gain'. The file has been scanned for virus, and reported clean and safe. I haven't used it so I don't know if it does video too. Audacity does say it does video. MP3GainHere is the link to AudacityI use Proshow Producer to make videos. It's the best program I've found so far and fairly easy to learn. They have a free trial.
