Notice there is a platform of Venus and temple of jaguars. Chichen Itza also represents this event. In the Denver Airport Mural in the above post you can see Jaguar, moon diety, and the feathered serpent(Quetzalcoatl) which represents Venus.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palenque
"The Palenque ruins date back to 100 BC to its fall around 800 AD."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pacal_the_Great
"was ruler of the Maya polity of Palenque in the Late Classic period of pre-Columbian Mesoamerican chronology. During a long reign of some 68 years Pakal was responsible for the construction or extension of some of Palenque's most notable surviving inscriptions and monumental architecture."

"Pakal’s tomb has been the focus of attention by some "ancient astronaut" enthusiasts since its appearance in Erich von Däniken's 1968 best seller, Chariots of the Gods?. Von Däniken reproduced a drawing of the sarcophagus lid (incorrectly labeling it as being from "Copan") and comparing Pacal's pose to that of 1960s Project Mercury astronauts, interpreting drawings underneath him as rockets, and saying it is supposed evidence of extraterrestrial influence on the ancient Maya."

Erich von Daniken is full of shit. and a liar.

Prof. Bob and Pacal the Mayan King
"This is a show about Pacal the Mayan king and the controversy over his tomb. This is also about Eric Von Daniken and the so-called outer space connection. The truth will set you free."

Translation:
"you fear me. So you should....all you who are vile. Would you like to know how you will die? The sacred time is near....Beware the blackness of day. Beware the man who brings the jaguar. Behold him reborn from mud and earth...for the one he takes you too will cancel the sky... and scratch out the earth... scratch you out. and end your world... He's with us now. Day will be like night.. and the man jaguar will lead you to your end.."

notice in the Denver Airport mural the little girl, she holds the codex barbonicus.

here is another important codex.
