Eureka! Cern announces discovery of Higgs boson 'God particle'http://www.independent.co.uk/news/scien ... 07677.html"It has taken nearly 50 years and cost £2.6bn. Now, at last, the Higgs boson particle has been found - and a new chapter in our understanding of the universe can begin..."

Don't believe the hype. The universe is fractal in nature and driven by electromagnetism not gravity. CERN Murder Quote: What if, now that we know the universe is electrical or ninety-five percent plasma driven, that one day we find out that atoms are just little solar systems or galaxies? Nature just repeating basic principals over and over. “what is above is below“.
This would make the CERN scientists, who waste billions of dollars just smashing things, barbaric, the destroyers of worlds. Even if their theory is validated, the standard atomic and gravity model of the universe only accounts for about five per cent of matter. “Dark matter” and “dark energy” are thought to make up the rest, but have yet to be detected. J. Robert Oppenheimer talking about the Trinity explosion, the first detonation of a nuclear device:

this isn't the first time someone at Cern has claimed to have found the elusive Higgs-Boson particle. [Uploaded by Channel4News on Apr 24, 2011]

Agreed jho. I can't help feeling this was meant to be 'discovered' and announced now, at this particular point in time - as though it had been planned all along. Got no way of proving it though!

And after all that hype, it turns out researchers are STILL not sure whether they found the Higgs Boson or not. "Is the 'God particle' an impostor? Scientists claim signal found in Large Hadron Collider may not be Higgs after all"http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/ ... ds-newsxmlhttp://news.discovery.com/space/might-t ... 20710.html
